Meet Terry
I was born in New York into a family of film-makers! I was surrounded with all aspects of film-making from a very young age. After moving to Los Angeles in 1990 I pursued a career in casting until I realized that making movies was my passion. In 2000 I completed production on my feature film which I wrote, directed and edited. Then, as life progressed, I met Julie and we got married! We had a beautiful wedding BUT the video was terrible. The image was out of focus and the camera operators were unprofessional and intrusive. They even made us do all the cheesy stuff we dreaded! This is when American Event Productions was born. I vowed that my company would provide outstanding service, would not be intrusive and would deliver the highest quality program available. Our camera operators are professional and courteous. We work quietly in the background while obtaining the best possible footage. Your edited program will be filmed with our state of the art, high definition equipment ensuring that your wedding movie will look amazing for many years to come. I personally edit every program and I hope you will trust me to capture your special occasions. I promise you'll love the results.
Meet Julie
I was born in the British Channel Islands, located just 14 miles off the French coast. I moved to Los Angeles in 1989 and followed my dream of a career in the hotel business. After meeting Terry we got married and had two beautiful children. I soon realized that my passion for marketing could be put to much better use by focusing on our own wedding and event videography business. You'll find me chatting to brides behind our booth at all the local wedding shows. I work mostly behind the scenes but you'll find me representing our company on Facebook and Twitter and updating our website and blog. So feel free to ask any questions and I'll be happy to help. I'll also be available to provide that female perspective that men just can't help you with! If you need to ask a girl's advice about any aspect of your wedding, I'm your girl! I can't wait to help you.
Meet BrianI was born in New York and was friends with Terry when we both lived in Queens. I moved to Los Angeles in 1993. After spending several years as a background actor I decided that my place was behind the camera not in front of it!
I have been filming weddings and events in Los Angeles with American Event Productions for over ten years. I have been trained to shoot in "Terry Style" and we often work side by side when we're filming multiple camera events. I use the exact same, state of the art camera equipment as Terry, to ensure your finished program looks incredible.
Not only do Terry and Julie consider me to be part of their family but I'm proud to be Godfather to their daughter! I'm also happy to have made great friendships with many of our wedding couples. I'm looking forward to working with you too and filming your event.
